Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

He wished Nick was there. Nick would bluster, rage, explode, and when he was done he would show that surprising and well-hidden tenderness that only a very few knew of. Nick might not "know" what to...

Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

Oh, Jarrod... how could you not listen to your conscience and be so easily tempted by things best left unknown?  Alas, he's only human... but I fear the consequences of this breech in confidence.

Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

I'm glad he looked in that folder and learned Heath's secret past. If he hadn't read the papers, how else would I find out what I was dying to know? Thanks Jarrod! Actually thanks Polly for the...

Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

Well done ! I think that perhaps taking the case in the first place was not the wisest move on Jarrod's part. However, after accepting the case he should know all the details of each potential heir.

Jarrod, you made a mistake, taking the case. Now, it won't be easy. For you and Heath when he'll know.

Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

Jarrod did not get very far before he hit that conflict of interest.  Not over disbursing the funds, but over Heath's right to privacy.  Nick might not "know" what to do, but he'd do it, and somehow...

Re: The Endicott Inheritance - Chapter 12

Not sure just how Heath will take this invasion of his privacy and Jarrod has no right to share it with Nick. I'm pretty sure there's some lawyer-client privilege involved.
